Twitter

I am so motivated to join twitter and other social media tools because they open somebody's mind, and you get to know what is going on  around you so quickly.

What is Twitter?


Twitter is microblogging. Twitter, and 'tweeting', is about broadcasting daily short burst messages to the world, with the hope that your messages are useful and interesting to someone. Conversely, Twitter is about discovering interesting people online, and following their burst messages for as long as they are interesting.

    Yes, the impact of social media with its immediacy and ability to reach people 24/7 where they are,is near magic :) and more specifically, I like their power to reach current and potential library users who don't bother to enter through library doors.
