ReplyDeleteYes, parents of children must have eyes behind their head ;) or rather be vigilant and practical when it comes to internet use by their child/ren.
ReplyDeleteIt seems to be, as with most things in life, that internet filtering can be beneficial as well as harmful (can be tweaked), depending on how it is used.
I don't have children yet but I know the day that I do have children I will definitely put a safety on the internet for them. Open internet is nice but when you suddenly come along something that you really didn't need to see and definitely didn't want to see, it is awful. I agree entirely to filter the internet for children and ensure a safe search, even though I know the filters is not full proof.
